India beat West Indies by 7 wickets

India 130 for 3 (Rohit 62*, Kohli 54) beat West Indies 129 for 7 (Gayle 34, Jadeja 3-48, Mishra 2-18, Bhuvneshwar 0-3) by 7 wickets

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma saw India through with calm half-centuries, even though a struggling Yuvraj Singh manufactured some late drama. The only thing missing on another satisfying night for India was a push for a big net run-rate boost.

India Vs Zimbabwe

July-19-2013
India 187 for 3 (Kohli 68*) beat Zimbabwe 183 (Williams 45, Mishra 4-47) by seven wickets.

A quick end to the Zimbabwe innings seemed imminent but the bottom three weren't about to throw their wickets away. Chatara's hook for six off Vinay was the highlight as the tail extended Zimbabwe's innings by more than 11 overs before Mishra returned to polish them off.

India leading series by 3-0.

Tri-Series Champion

July 11, 2013
West Indies - India - Sri Lanka

A thrilling end to a thrilling series. India, after losing their opening two games, have emerged deserved winners. Hosts West Indies were poor during the latter stages while Sri Lanka faltered when it mattered most. MS Dhoni will bag the limelight but Virat Kohli deserves the plaudits for leading India on most of the tour. The 2013 Champions Trophy winners have cemented their status and the world's No.1 ODI team.

  • Dhoni has got his 19th Man of the Match award in ODIs – his sixth against Sri Lanka.
  • Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s tally of 10 wickets (ave.9.70) is his best performance in a series – also the highest in the just-concluded Tri series competition.
Match Summary:

Final Match: India v Sri Lanka at Port of Spain - Jul 11, 2013
Sri Lanka 201 (48.5/50 ov); India 203/9 (49.4/50 ov)
